Located in New Hyde Park, New York, the New Hyde Park Fire Department is an all-volunteer organization proudly serving the local community for over a century. Comprised of five dedicated companies—Protection Engine Co. No. 2, Active Hook & Ladder Co. No. 1, Estates Engine Co., Enterprise Engine Co. No. 1, and the Rescue Company—our department operates out of multiple stations across the district. Each company brings its own history, tradition, and strength to our unified mission of protecting lives and property. Our members are on call 24/7, responding swiftly to emergencies ranging from fires and medical calls to rescues and disasters, always upholding a legacy of selfless service.
